Assalamualaikum,
We are the new generation in the industry of logistics. As we know logistics is recognize not so long ago but it has been running since the first mode of transportation is created. Nowadays, logistics is very popular in terms of career and business. One of the modes that we have in our country is rail road transportation. Even though Malaysia is not traditionally been a railway nation but we still have some high technology train. We admit that Malaysia has fallen behind the global growth of railway industry. Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology(MiGHT) are responsible for growing the domestic railway industry in Malaysia in terms of design, manufacturing assembly and maintenance. Working with more than 50 railway industry stakeholders from Industry and Government, MiGHT carried out in 2011 a serious of workshops to understand, define and plot a course forward for this industry with so much potential. The outcome is being translated into a long term industry planning document for the Malaysian railway industry. Today MiGHT is more central than ever, lending key support to national objectives for global competitiveness and sustainable development in high-value, knowledge-based industries. No other agency has the capability of MiGHT to empower industry and government towards a global future in science, technology and innovation.

Malaysia has decided to expand the rail service by implementing the new project which is the Kuala
Lumpur - Singapore High Speed Rail (HSR). The project was
announced by our Prime Minister Dato' Sri Haji Mohammad Najib bin Tun Haji Abdul Razak in
September 2010 and is proposed to connect Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Johor
Bahru with Singapore. On February 19th 2013, Singapore
and Malaysia have officially agreed to build a high-speed rail link
between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore by 2020 at a meeting between
Singapore’s Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and Malaysia’s Prime
Minister Najib Razak in Singapore. We will see the progress of this
project every year and wait until it is completely build.
